Karen Hendrickson, CEO Of Rabito Clinic Limited Makes The Top 100 Women C.E.O’s In Africa List

Karen Hendrickson; Jamaican born, Bermuda raised, Ghanaian rooted and the Chief Executive Officer of Rabito Clinic, (the premier dermatology health facility in Ghana), has been nominated amongst the top 100 Women C.E.O’s in Africa by Reset Global People and Pulse editors. Karen is also the only CEO nominated from the primary healthcare space amongst the entire list.

Working in collaboration with Avance Media, women C.E.Os are selected based on the following criteria:

1.    Size and importance of the woman-led business in the economy

2.    Health and direction of the business

3.    Arc of the woman’s career (résumé and runway ahead)

4.    Social and cultural influence

This list was created to recognize and celebrate the performance and excellence of peak performing women C.E.O’s across the African continent.

Mrs Hendrickson is a visual orator, serial entrepreneur, African enthusiast, motivator and philanthropist with over 30 years of experience in six (6) major industries and large multi-national companies across West Africa, Europe, Middle Asia and North America.

As Rabito Clinic’s C.E.O, she leads a team, focused on making a positive impact on Ghana’s healthcare space by building on the 45-year legacy created by the Founder and Chief Medical Director, Prof. Edmund Nminyem Delle. Mrs Hendrickson, though her work at Rabito Clinic, is determined to bring quality and affordable healthcare to all by expanding the Rabito brand network to 35 clinics across Ghana. Employing innovative technologies, Rabito is able to take healthcare to underserved communities. Mentoring, challenging and developing hundreds of medical and support staff to be fully prepared to care for Ghana’s growing population through Rabito’s expanding health care network is what drives  Rabito Clinic’s C.E.O, Karen Hendrickson.

As an accomplished presenter, skilled communicator, an expert in organizational and customer relationship management, she is driven to not only make a positive impact in business and the healthcare space but to also positively influence her community. Mrs Hendrickson is a Founding Member and Trustee of Children’s Heart Foundation Ghana, a charity dedicated to raising funds for Ghanaian children with congenital heart conditions. The Foundation has financially supported more than 200 children in Ghana to get free open-heart surgery over the past 10 years. She is also a member of the Executive Women’s Network (EWN), an organization dedicated to networking and mentoring business women across all industries in Ghana.
